Stock systems are made oversized on purpose. The base is cut to your own bald area before you wear it, by us or by a hair professional, so the edge follows your hairline and lies flat.

It depends on the base. Skin gives the most undetectable hairline we make and a parting you can see scalp through. Lace and hybrid put the fine, see-through material where people look and something tougher where they do not. Bleached knots minimise the knots at the front; no base makes them disappear entirely, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling. The empty lace strip at the front of a new system is intentional. It is the cut-to-fit zone, and you trim it to your own hairline.
Needs sign-off from Geeta or Cindy before launchThree jobs stand between the box and wearing it: cutting the base for your scalp, the haircut, and putting it on. Plenty of men do all three. If you would rather not, Salon Prepared takes the first two off you and the unit arrives with the adhesive already on, so about five minutes of work is left. It never puts the system on your head for you, and it ships in about a week, or up to two for a permed style.
By family: mono runs 3 to 5 months, hybrid 1 to 4, lace 1 to 3, and skin 1 to 4 months, the thinnest films at the short end. Your own routine moves that range more than the model does. A system is a consumable with a service cycle, not a one-off purchase, which is why the cost section above covers a year rather than a checkout total.
M100N is 3 to 5 months. Its product page says 2 to 3 and is wrongNo system is waterproof, but some handle a hot day better than others. If you sweat from your scalp, our consultants will steer you away from a solid skin base, even if you arrived asking for one. Lace and hybrid breathe, and they hold through a summer.
